The MPAA rating has been assigned for “sexual material, language and brief teen drinking/drug use.” The Kids-In-Mind.com evaluation includes a few kissing scenes, many sexual references and sexualized cheerleading routines, an accident during an acrobatic cheer jump that leaves a teen in a coma, a death from a terminal illness, many arguments, 16 F-words and other strong language. A 37-year-old woman (Rebel Wilson) awakens from a 20-year coma and returns to high school to relive the popularity she enjoyed during her unfinished senior year. Also with Sam Richardson, Zoe Chao, Mary Holland, Chris Parnell, Justin Hartley, Angourie Rice, Michael Cimino, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Brandon Scott Jones and Alicia Silverstone. Senior Year SEX/NUDITY 6

 – A woman at a mall rubs her two middle fingers down her buttocks as she walks away from a woman she dislikes. A teen girl holds bowling balls in front of her chest and a teen boy pretends to lick them, then she drops one and says she defecated it. A teen boy puts his hands on a teen girl’s chest over her sweater in public and says, “Boop boop.” A man tries to lick a woman’s fingers and she backs away. A clothed woman rubs her iPhone into her crotch area and hands it to a man who grimaces. A woman rubs her fingers over her nipple areas over her puffy coat as a woman friend tells her to stop. A man in a theater holds a large drink cup over his lap and a woman next to him pulls the straw up and down to make noise and simulate masturbation while the man laughs; another woman shouts and an usher ejects her from the theater. A woman slaps a man on the clothed buttocks as he passes by.
 Three scenes include prolonged kissing in close-up between teen girl and teen boy couples. A man and a woman kiss in close-up for a few seconds. A married man tries to kiss a single woman several times, but she tells him no each time. Two teen boys, one clad in a suit with matching skirt over the trousers and the other in a flowing blouse, harem pants and feathers, dance closely at a teen prom.
 A high school cheer squad wearing miniskirts perform a dance/cheer with twerking, hip rolling and shimmying; they lick two fingers of each hand and rub the fingers down across their bosoms, stomachs, and into the groin area. A cheer routine including male participants includes the squad members licking the middle finger of each hand; they shimmy and rub their hands over their hair, chest and groin areas while doing pelvic thrusts. Teen cheerleaders rip off their outer clothing at a rally and the girls are shown wearing sparkly leotards, and all members shimmy and twerk. A 37-year-old woman at a high school prom rips off her skirt to reveal a pink leotard and she dances and shakes her hips.
 A teen boy at a party is shirtless. A few scenes include teen girl cheerleaders wearing mid-thigh length skirts. A prom scene includes many teen girls wearing long prom gowns that are strapless, backless, or have thin straps, all showing come cleavage. A 37-year-old woman attending high school classes wears very tight sweaters. A few teen girls at school in a few scenes wear crop tops that reveal their bare abdomens, and mid-thigh length miniskirts. A dolphin in an ally showcase is made of tampons.

Senior Year VIOLENCE/GORE 3

 – An envious cheerleader convinces the squad to not catch the cheer captain when she flips high into the air and comes back down at a pep rally; the squad members turn away as the girl descends and she falls in the background hard onto her back and head, with a loud thud below the frame (no injuries are seen) and the scene cuts to the cheer captain, now age 37, in a hospital bed where she has been for 20 years, attached to a beeping vital signs monitor (no injuries are shown). A woman appears in a few scenes wearing scarves that cover her head, suggesting cancer treatment; we later hear that she was sick and died.
 Teen boys and girls toilet paper a bell tower at school and are rebuked for vandalism. A teen girl jumps out of a moving car and hits the pavement, but is OK. A teen girl screams in a class in front of students and a teacher, but is largely ignored. A dolphin in an ally showcase is made of tampons.
 A woman and a man in different scenes tell a woman that she hurt them back in high school by chasing snobby classmates for approval and abandoning her friends when she became cheer captain. The man and the woman stop interacting with the second woman, who becomes sad.
 A woman calls police to shut down a teen party and we see and hear cruisers with flashing lights and sirens; the woman’s daughter later shouts angrily at her. Two women argue intensely and the second woman vomits a lot of brown material. A woman and her teen daughter argue loudly, the girl stating that the mother’s attempt to be both popular and condescending for over 20 years has ruined both their lives. An angry woman rips posters and decorations off her bedroom wall and screams. Two women have several arguments with shouting and name-calling. A woman has a few arguments with another woman.

 – A woman receives a box of canning jars full of marijuana from a company asking her to promote it on social media (we do not see the drug again), and a man asks a woman if she is doing crack cocaine and she says no. Many attendees at a teen party hold cups but do not drink from them, a man and a woman at a bowling alley bar sit in from a beer bottle and a tall cocktail (they do not drink), two scenes include a man holding a beer bottle and not drinking from it, men and women drink from beer bottles in a club, a teen girl says her party will have lots of alcohol, and a woman chugs from a wine bottle in the background at home. A woman holds an unlit cigarette at a party.
