A large group of riot police officers surround protestors and a man’s leg is pinned under scaffolding as an explosion throws a man and a woman (we see some charred skin and they cough and get back up).  A man moans from stomach pain, collapses onto a café table and causes furniture around him to be upturned. A man lies on a floor and tries to light a cigarette; he reaches for a lighter on the floor and it moves into his hand unaided, and with newfound powers he causes objects to float around him and a bottle hits him in the face and the lighter hits him in the head. A man wiggles his hips to cause a door to close and his tongue to place a chain lock on the door.

CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
