 – A nude man thrusts on top of someone below the frame and we see the man’s bare chest, shoulders and abdomen as he thrusts rhythmically. An exotic dance club is shown in a few scenes and we see many scantily clad entertainers: we see cleavage, bare abdomens, legs to the hips, bare buttocks, bare breasts with pasties over the nipples, and nipple outlines through sheer fabric.
A man pulls his pants down and we see his partial bare buttocks. A man says that he was shot five times and lifts his shirt to reveal five bullet wound scars (we see his bare chest and abdomen).

AKA VIOLENCE/GORE 7

 – A man puts his young daughter to bed and we hear gunshots ring out; a woman standing just outside the room is shot and blood spurts, the man covers the child and holds her on the floor and we see that she has been shot in the head (we see the bloody wound) and the man is shot a couple of times (he later wakes up with a start and we see bandages on his wounds).
Two men shoot at each other and gunfire erupts from others in the area (blood splatters and bodies fall dead), a few men fight with punches and kicks and one man’s head is slammed onto a protruding piece of metal on a wall and blood splatters. A man fights several men in a drug lab: one man is slashed across the throat (blood pours), one is jabbed with a broken glass tube, and others are stabbed; a man uses a sledgehammer to fight a gunman, and a man shoots a door open and shoots a man’s finger off (we see the bloody stump) and shoots to kill the man (off screen). A man stabs a guard under the chin and steals his gun, he shoots several other guards in the area (blood spurts and sprays) as an alarm blares, he throws explosives and we see bodies thrown through the air; a guard holds a woman with a gun to her head, the guard is shot in the head and the woman is shot in the head (blood spurts and pools on the floor). A man sits next to another man on a bus and the second man tries to stab the first man but the knife is plunged into his own leg (we see a close-up of the bloody knife as it is pulled out of the man’s leg and we hear a squish); the second man then stabs the first man in the neck and he falls over dead. Several armed men rob a bank and we see a bag full of cash; they drive away and the car T-boned in an intersection, surrounded and fired upon by people with guns (we see some people struck and blood spurts) and a gun battle ensues, with people firing back and forth and some people being killed (we see blood spurt). A woman shoots three men in a car and one man shoots her in the neck (we see a ragged and bloody wound and she later dies). Many armed people open fire in an area where a young girl lies unconscious; a man is struck and blood spurts, an oxygen tank is struck and explodes, and a man carries the child away while she is attached to IVs and we see bandages on her head and two men shoot at the gunmen and throw smoke bombs as they try to get away. Shooters are shot and bodies fall from a roof and splat on the ground (we do not see the result). A man is shot in the chest and head (we see blood spurt). A man and a young man are each shot in the head and we see blood spray.
A man holds a gun on another man and a third man shoots the gunman (blood spurts). A man grabs another man and snaps his neck (we hear the crack). A man strangles another man with a cord. A man shoots another man in the leg and he falls to the floor with a bloody wound. A security guard is surrounded by people trying to get into a club, they shove him when he will not allow them to enter and another man in the club hears about the commotion and fights with the men (we see the fight on CCTV) and we see men being struck and thrown until they all leave (one man is shown with blood on his face). A man hits another man in the throat and he falls back onto a sofa (we later hear that he almost broke his larynx), and another man holds a gun to the first man’s head as another man enters and punches him hard in the abdomen (he falls to his knees gasping). A young woman is shown limping and with bloody wounds and we understand that her young brother was kidnapped.
Two men hold guns on each other, another man grabs the barrel of one man’s gun and it discharges into the ceiling as the man snaps the gunman’s wrist. A man goes home and is held at gunpoint as he enters his house; he sees a person tied up in another room and the two of them are injected with a sedative. A pre-teen boy bullies a young boy and makes fun of his mother; the young boy tries to push the other boy and is knocked to the ground until a man approaches and flicks the bully’s nose (he exclaims that the man broke his nose).
A dead man is zipped into a body bag and we see that the side of his face and eye are missing and bloody. A man says that he was shot five times and lifts his shirt to reveal five bullet wound scars. We see a morgue photo of a young boy with autopsy scars on his chest and abdomen. A photo of a teen boy lying on the ground with bloody gunshot wounds is shown a couple of times. A woman is shown sitting motionless (probably dead) and her face is bruised and swollen from an apparent beating. A teen boy in a hospital bed is shown with monitors and bandages after having been shot five times. A young woman bandages a man’s wounds as he lies unconscious and he later staples an abdominal wound and wraps duct tape around it.
A man with a bag over his head and with his hands bound sits in the back of a truck surrounded by three other men with guns; the truck stops, the man is led out of the truck and walked over rough terrain to a cave where he is thrown into a cage. Two people listen on a bugged phone call and the transmission is jammed with a loud noise. A man vomits into a toilet after sticking his fingers into his throat; he retches loudly and we hear splatter but do not see goo. A man retrieves a small knife from his anus (we see him pull out a tied rubber casing that holds the knife) and uses it to cut the ropes tying his hands. A man smears what looks like blood and matter on his jacket and it apparently smells bad.
A woman yells at her husband and they argue; she says, “You disgust me.” A young woman pleads with a man to help her rescue her young brother from kidnappers and she says, “They’ll kill him.” We hear that a teen boy shot and killed a man. A woman yells at her young son and is dismissive of him.

CAVEATS

Be aware that while we do our best to avoid spoilers it is impossible to disguise all details and some may reveal crucial plot elements.

We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and older reviews are not as complete & accurate as recent ones; we plan to revisit and correct older reviews as resources and time permits.

Our ratings and reviews are based on the theatrically-released versions of films; on video there are often Unrated, Special, Director's Cut or Extended versions, (usually accurately labelled but sometimes mislabeled) released that contain additional content, which we did not review.
