MPAA Rating: PG-13

Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr. star in this film about a man's journey through the afterlife. Annabella Sciorra, Max von Sydow, Jessica Brooks Grant, Josh Paddock, Rosalind Chao, Werner Herzog, Lucinda Jenney and Matt Salinger co-star. [1:53]

SEX/NUDITY 2 - Kissing. We see a nude man in a painting (not much is visible because we see him from the side) and a brief glimpse of a woman's buttocks.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - We see a violent car accident and a man with some blood on his face. A woman is whacked in the head with a sailboat mast, but isn't injured. In scenes taking place in Hell, we see disfigured people, people writhing in the sea during a storm and people buried to their necks. Scuffles and a brief sword fight.

PROFANITY 5 - Two F-words, an anatomical reference, a few scatological references and a few mild obscenities. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Death, suicide, afterlife, Heaven and Hell, reincarnation.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
