ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

Wayne and Garth (Mike Myers, Dana Carvey) are back with a
new TV studio, and in more trouble with women.
SEX/NUDITY 3 - Kim Basinger seduces Garth and has (off-camera) sex with him.
We briefly see a bare bottom a few times.
VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - A tennis ball launcher pelts some people with balls. Garth
is shown having his teeth drilled as part of a gag. Wayne battles a martial arts master in
a take-off of martial arts movies: he and his opponent threaten each other with swords,
but no one gets hurt. Wayne falls off a light pole and shatters the concrete below.
PROFANITY 3 - Sporadic scatological language. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - The drug culture associated with the rock scene; premarital
sex.
MESSAGE - Being an adult means facing responsibility, but still taking the
time to have fun.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
