A film based on the transcript of an interview between "Rolling Stone" writer David Lipsky (Jesse Eisenberg) and novelist David Foster Wallace (Jason Segel) that took place over several days on the writer's 1996 book tour. A young girl's (Kaitlyn Dias) emotions fall into turmoil caused by a family move and the destruction of some of her memories by the emotion Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The other emotions discount Sadness, but Joy (Amy Poehler) helps her look for the missing memories, while Anger (Lewis Black) blows his top, and other emotions go rogue. In 1947 a retired Sherlock Holmes (Ian McKellen) is disturbed by his recent trip to Japan in search of anti-aging potions. Returning to Sussex with determination, he focuses on a 35-year old unsolved case. He does not remember all the facts, but he does retain the knack for solving crimes. A NYC real estate baron (Ben Kingsley) is dying from cancer and decides to try a secret medical technique called "shedding": For this to work he transfers his consciousness to a younger, inanimate body via linked MRI machines. His new body (Ryan Reynolds) works well, but after moving to New Orleans he begins having flashbacks of a life that is not his own. Terminator Genisys [2015] [PG-13] - 4.6.5
In this fifth installment the Guardian Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) time travels to fight the Skynet artificial intelligence and a new Terminator, version T-3000 (Jason Clarke). The Guardian's mission is to save a woman (Emilia Clarke) and her son with the help of a soldier (Jai Courtney) from the future, but changes in the timeline interfere. Also with Lee Byung-hun and J. A woman (Amy Schumer) lives by her father's credo that monogamy does not work and she drinks heavily and sleeps with dozens of random men, but becomes bored. For a magazine article she is writing, she interviews a doctor (Bill Hader) and becomes more involved with him than she'd like. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. [2015] [PG-13] - 4.6.3
Based on the eponymous TV series from the 1960s: A CIA agent (Henry Cavill) and a KGB operative (Armie Hammer) find themselves working together to track down an organization bent on developing nuclear weapons. Also with Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Luca Calvani, Sylvester Groth, Hugh Grant and Jared Harris. Directed by Guy Ritchie. Some dialogue is in German, Italian and Russian with English subtitles. [1:56]

The Stanford Prison Experiment [2015] [R] - 6.7.10
Based on actual academic research for the US military during 1971: a psychology professor (Billy Crudup) sets up college students to portray prisoners and prison guards in a simulated medium security facility, with very disturbing results. Also with Ezra Miller, Olivia Thirlby, Nelson Ellis, Ki Hong Lee, Tye Sheridan, Michael Angarano, Jack Kilmer and Nicholas Braun. Directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez. [1:57]

We Are Your Friends [2015] [R] - 7.5.10
An ambitious promoter and DJ (Zac Efron) plans to amass fame and wealth by stepping up his game to spin discs in Hollywood. However, he creates only mediocre mashup tracks and a more experienced but burned-out DJ (Wes Bentley) offers to help. The younger man becomes distracted as he falls for his mentor's girlfriend (Emily Ratajowski) and puts his future at risk. Also with Alex Shaffer, Shiloh Fernandez, Jonny Weston and John Bernthal. American Ultra [2015] [R] - 3.8.10
A West Virginia slacker's (Jesse Eisenberg) life consists of smoking marijuana, slouching through his convenience store job, and writing a comic book about an ape superhero. Buried in his subconscious is the fact that he is a lethal sleeper agent for the CIA and when he's scheduled to be eliminated one of its project leaders activates his fighting skills with a hypnotic phrase. He becomes a weapon, but also discovers a secret about his girlfriend (Kristen Stewart). Also with Topher Grace, Connie Britton. Walton Groggins, John Leguizamo, Bill Pullman and Tony Hale. A long time ago an aging rock star (Meryl Streep) left her husband (Kevin Kline) and daughter (Mamie Gunner) to follow her singing dreams. Returning home in guilt, she faces questions, heartbreak and anger from her grown daughter, her two sons and her ex-husband's new wife.
