Teenager Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) searches for his father and mother, who disappeared mysteriously when he was a child. Meanwhile, he develops a relationship with a schoolmate (Emma Stone), who is also the local police captain's daughter. His search leads him to radioactive spiders that give him superpowers and confrontations with a super-villain called the Lizard. Several students of paranormal Psychology try to recreate an experiment performed in the '70s that supposedly resulted in contacting a recently deceased person. When the experiment goes horribly wrong and one of the students disappears, the remaining students endeavor to reverse the experiment. With Ashley Greene, Sebastian Stan and Tom Felton. Animated feature about a boy (voiced by Kodi Smith-McPhee) that can see the dead and interact with them. Along with his friend (voiced by Tucker Abrizzi), he wants to save his New England hometown from an ancient curse and so they must interact with zombies, ghosts, and witches. The daughter (Kathryn McCormick) of an ambitious businessman (Peter Gallagher) arrives in Miami to become a member of a snobbish dance company, but meets the leader of the infamous MOB (Ryan Guzman), a sharp stepping crew intent on winning a dance contest and a professional sponsorship. But when the MOB's home neighborhood is slated for development forcing the residents and small businesses out, the MOB turns its choreography toward protest. In Whitney Houston's final film, she plays the mother of three grown daughters (Carmen Ejogo, Jordin Sparks and Tika Sumpter) in 1968's Detroit: The girls want to follow their dream of fame and fortune as a Motown girl group, but their mother opposes their aspirations. Through disappointments in men and music, the sisters make some surprising sacrifices in realizing their dream. Also with Mike Epps and Derek Luke. Directed by Salim Akil. [1:55]
