While there he uncovers a disturbing history in the broken down and long abandoned cabins in the woods. In the second, a woman (Keshia Knight Pulliam) who's trying to come to terms with a horrible event from her past also finds herself in jail for 17 years, until an old friend (Derek Luke) uncovers wrongdoing in the DA's office. In this sequel, Inspector Clouseau (Steve Martin) and his partner Ponton (Jean Reno) join an international team of detectives to recover several stolen treasures. These include the Shroud of Turin and the Magna Carta, stolen by the infamous but supposedly retired Le Tornado, who leaves his calling card at the scene of each crime. She accepts a job at a financial advice magazine and her columns become very popular, although her large debt eventually catches up with her. A police officer (John Cena) pursues a man and a woman, and when they get out of their car the woman runs from the scene and is struck by a car and killed. The man vows to exact revenge on the police officer and when he breaks out of prison, he forces the officer to finish 12 timed tasks, otherwise his girlfriend (Ashley Scott) will be killed. A sensitive man (Joaquin Phoenix) falls in love with his troubled neighbor (Gwyneth Paltrow), who's dating married man.
