A boy (Ben Mendelsohn) is given an envelope that has been unpacked from a 50 year old time capsule. In the envelope is a piece of paper containing nothing but numbers, with no apparent meaning. When the boy's father (Nicolas Cage) begins to look more closely he determines that the numbers seem to be predictions of disasters. Also with Lara Robinson, Rose Byrne and Chandler Canterbury. People with psychic abilities are monitored and evaluated by an agency, which is trying to find a way to enhance their skills and use them as weapons. The only problem is that the drug used is also killing them. Two psychics (Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning) combine forces to thwart the agency's efforts. A young woman (Odette Yusman) is possessed by the spirit of her dead twin, and she turns to her ailing grandmother (Jane Alexander), who reveals secrets about her haunted past, and to a rabbi (Gary Oldman), pleading with him to perform an exorcism. Also with Meagan Good, Cam Gigandet, Idris Elba and Carla Gugino. Directed by David S. Goyer. [1:28]

The Haunting in Connecticut [2009] [PG-13] - 3.7.5
Based on a documentary from the Discovery Channel, it portrays the difficulties encountered in the 1980s by a couple (Virginia Madsen and Martin Donovan) as they move into a rental home with their teenage son and daughter (Kyle Gallner and Amanda Crew). The house is conveniently near the cancer clinic required by their chronically ill son, but seems to have some unwanted inhabitants. Also with Elias Koteas, D.W. Brown, and Ty Wood. It is the 1980s in an alternate universe where Richard Nixon is in his third presidential term, the world is dangerously close to nuclear destruction and costumed superheroes have been banned by the government. When two of the retired crimefighters begin to investigate the murder of one of their own, they realize there is a conspiracy with worldwide implications. An adaptation of Alan Moore's comic book series. With Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Patrick Wilson, Carla Gugino, Matt Frewer, Stephen McHattie, Laura Mennell, Niall Matter and Rob LaBelle. A young girl (voiced by Dakota Fanning) joins her parents when they move to a new town to do research for their gardening book. Feeling bored as soon as they arrive, she begins exploring the old house they share with three other tenants, and when she finds a locked door she cannot resist opening it. Inside she finds a different reality. Also with Teri Hatcher, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Ian McShane, Carrie Genzel, Malcolm Foster Smith, John Hodgman and Robert Bailey Jr. Directed by Henry Selick. [1:41]

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reprise their roles from the almost eponymous 2001 film: The former is still involved in truck hijackings and the latter is now an F.B.I agent. Their paths cross again when they have a common target, an elusive drug kingpin hiding in Mexico. Also with Gal Gadot, Jordana Brewster, Mirtha Michelle, Liza LaPira, Michelle Rodriguez, Jack Conley and Shea Whigham. Directed by Justin Lin. [1:39]

Dragonball Evolution [2009] [PG] - 4.4.3
Based on the popular Manga series featuring Goku (Justin Chatwin), a teen who's dealing with high school life until he is asked by his dying grandfather to embark on a quest to gather seven magical orbs called Dragonballs. He must do this before an evil warlord (James Marsters) finds them and uses them to destroy the world. Also with Emmy Rossum, Chow Yun-Fat, Jamie Chung, Joon Park, Eriko Tamura, Randall Duk Kim, Ernie Hudson, Texas Battle. Directed by James Wong. [1:24]

Miss March [2009] [R] - 8.5.10
On the night of their high school prom, a young man (Zach Cregger) and his long-time girlfriend (Raquel Alessi) agree to have sex for the first time, but he doesn't make the rendezvous after he falls down a flight of stairs and ends up in a coma for four years. When he awakes he travels across the country to find her in the Playboy mansion, and he wants to find out why she left him. Also with Molly Stanton, Holly Hindman, Craig Robinson, Trevor Moore, Sara Jean Underwood and Hugh Hefner. Directed by Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore. [1:31]
