Three soldiers who have survived an Iraqi ambush return home to Texas to face life as civilians: two of them suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and cannot adjust, while the third (Ryan Phillippe) is forced to re-enlist and return to Iraq after his army contract has expired, but refuses and travels America, looking for refuge and answers; the film follows him as he visits the survivors in a VA Hospital and other AWOL soldiers. A man (Jason Statham) struggling to pay back a debt to shady characters is convinced by a longtime friend (Saffron Burrows) to rob a bank with her. The plan seems foolproof, until ulterior motives begin to surface and they have to think fast to save their lives. Raven-Symoné stars as a high school student, who dreams of going away to college. However, her overprotective father (Martin Lawrence) has different plans for his only daughter, and when she decides to take a road trip to a college interview, he decides to accompany her and to visit several schools in order to pick the one his daughter will attend. A wealthy family incurs the wrath of a witch, who places a curse on them: their next female child will be born with the face of a pig and will remain so until someone of her own kind loves her. When Penelope (Christina Ricci) is born she indeed has a pig nose and ears, and when she's a young woman her mother (Catherine O'Hara) searches for a wealthy boy for her daughter to marry in order to break the curse. Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay [2008] [R] - 9.6.10
Harold (John Cho) remembers the moment he and Vanessa (Paula Garces) shared an elevator from the previous adventure and boards a plane to Amsterdam to join her. Unfortunately, Kumar (Kal Penn) comes along, is deemed to be a terrorist threat while in the air and the two are sent to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. They manage to escape but the adventures take them to many places while they are trying find someone to help them clear their names. Director and Rolling Stones fan Martin Scorsese films a concert documentary on the Rolling Stones' two-night appearance at the Beacon Theater in New York, and he includes vintage Stones footage, behind the scenes footage and footage of the pre-concert preparations. he members of an Egyptian police band arrive in Israel expecting to be met and taken to their pre-arranged performance.
