A literary thriller making the case that Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford (Rhys Ifans), was actually the person who wrote Shakespeare's plays. The story takes place during the tumultuous political backdrop of the Essex Rebellion against Queen Elizabeth I (Vanessa Redgrave). A documentary based on the true story of a chimpanzee that was the focus of an experiment to determine if apes can communicate like humans: Chimp Nim Chimpsky was first taken from his mother at two weeks old and raised as a child on the Upper West Side of New York in the 1970s, continued to be the center of a very hands-on linguistic study and finally retired on a rescue farm. A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas [2011] [R] - 9.8.10
Two estranged druggie friends (John Cho and Kal Penn) meet again during the Christmas holidays, and when one of them visits the other, he accidentally burns down the cherished family Christmas tree. The two then hit the streets of New York City to find a replacement and run into thugs, drug parties, strange children and odd stage shows but not a perfect tree. Also with Paula Garces, Danny Trejo, Bobby Lee, Neil Patrick Harris, Danneel Ackles, Elias Koteas, Patton Oswalt, Tom Lennon and Jordan Hinson. Directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson. [1:30]

The first part of the two-part conclusion to the "Twilight" series: Bella (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) are married and are surprised on their honeymoon when Bella becomes pregnant. Her pregnancy worries both vampires and werewolves, including Bella's best friend, Jacob (Taylor Lautner) especially when she becomes very ill. Based on the novel by Hunter S. Thomspon: An American journalist (Johnny Depp) moves to Puerto Rico in the 1950s to work, and his various encounters with locals and business tycoons lead him to develop his own voice as a writer. Take Shelter [2011] [R] - 2.6.5
A young husband and father (Michael Shannon) is plagued by a series of apocalyptic visions, that force him to question his own sanity; he must then decide between sheltering his family from the coming storm or come to terms with the idea that he's psychotic and it's all in his head. The third installment of the Paranormal Activity series shows the backstory, which concern two sisters (Chloe Csengery and Jessica Tyler Brown) as they befriend a ghost in their home and the chaos that follows. Biopic of J. Edgar Hoover with Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead role: The first Director of the FBI lead a complicated life as he rose to power, and amid famous raids, G-man comic books and other exploits, Hoover hid secrets with the help of his lifelong friend, Associate FBI Director Clyde Tolson (Armie Hammer) and his long-time secretary (Naomi Watts). Tower Heist [2011] [PG-13] - 4.3.5
When the building manager (Ben Stiller) of a high rent tower in NYC realizes that their richest resident (Alan Alda) is being arrested for securities fraud and that the pensions of the entire staff were in his control, he tries to figure out a way to get him to repay their money. Based on the true story of the 1972 Immaculata College female basketball team and their coach Cathy Rush (Carla Gugino), who took the small religious school all the way to win the National Championship. Puss in Boots [2011] [PG] - 2.4.3
In a land of fairy stories an orphaned kitten (voiced by Antonio Banderas) is taken in by a kindly woman (voiced by Constance Marie). He earns his boots as an award for bravery in the village, but as he grows up, he is tricked by a greedy Humpty A. Dumpty (voiced by Zak Galifiakis) into becoming involved in a bank robbery and the cat must flee as an outlaw. Also with the voices of Billy Bob Thornton, Amy Sedaris, Salma Hayek, Walt Dohrn and Guillermo del Toro. Directed by Chris Miller. [1:30]

Four men (Thomas Jane, Jeremy Piven, Rob Lowe and Christian McKay) re-unite every year for a week of drinking, drugs and catching up with each other's lives. This year's reunion is weightier though since 25 years ago they had made a vow to always strive to become the men they wanted to be and to commit suicide if they failed. Also with Carla Gugino.
