Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End [2007] [PG-13] - 4.7.3
The third installment of the "Pirates" series revisits all of the characters from the previous films, with assorted missions and goals: The British commander is still bent on controlling the seas and annihilating the pirate population, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is still dead-ish, Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) is desperate to save his father (Stellan Skarsgard) from Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) and the Flying Dutchman, and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) is desperate to save Jack. Also with Geoffrey Rush, Jonathan Pryce and Chow Yun Fat. Directed by Gore Verbinski & George Marshall Ruge. [2:45]

Superbad [2007] [R] - 8.5.10
Two high school seniors and best friends prepare to graduate and head off to separate colleges. In an effort to make their final days memorable they come up with a plan to have sex with a girl sometime before summer is over. A young woman (Scarlett Johansson) just graduating from New York University with a degree in Finance and Anthropology is uncertain about her future. In order to try to clear her head and figure out what she wants to do with her life, she takes a position as a nanny for the son of a very wealthy Upper East Side couple. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix [2007] [PG-13] - 2.6.1
The fifth in the series finds Harry, Ron and Hermione fighting to save Hogwarts from certain destruction under the direction of a Ministry of Magic toady who refuses to teach anything useful. Also, after Harry's last encounter with Lord Voldemort he becomes frustrated, trying to convince those people in charge that there is a serious threat and that they all must prepare. With Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Ralph Fiennes and Gary Oldman. Directed by David Yates. [2:18]

Bourne Ultimatum [2007] [PG-13] - 3.6.4
Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) returns for the third outing as the professional assassin who lost his memory when his conscience got the better of him. Having also lost the only person he cared for, and being pursued by fellow assassins, he tries to finally figure out his true identity and find out who was responsible for taking it away from him. Also with Joan Allen, Julia Stiles, David Strathairn and Paddy Considine. Directed by Paul Greengrass. [1:51]

The Simpsons Movie [2007] [PG-13] - 5.4.4
The Simpsons make their big screen debut: When Homer pollutes Springfield's lake by dumping in it a large container of pig feces, the insane EPA chief places a dome over the whole city and decides to blow it up. The Simpsons must now save their city, and Homer must redeem himself. With the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Harry Shearer, Hank Azaria, Albert Brooks and Pamela Hayden. Directed by David Silverman. [1:25]

Balls of Fury [2007] [PG-13] - 4.5.4
Christopher Walken stars as the mysterious leader of an organized crime family, who also happens to be a fan of extreme ping-pong. He therefore organizes a competition pitting the best ping-pong players in the world in sudden death matches, where "death" is meant literally. In order to catch him dealing arms, the F.B.I. recruits a former ping-pong champion who has not competed since his father was brutally murdered when he was a young boy. The Michael Myers "Halloween" saga continues with this look at the mass murderer's dysfunctional life around age 10, which presumably explains his subsequent behavior. With Daeg Faerch, Danielle Harris, Malcolm McDowell, Danny Trejo and Sheri Moon. Directed by Rob Zombie. [1:49]

Stardust [2007] [PG-13] - 4.6.1
A young man (Charlie Cox) vows to bring a star that's fallen from the sky to the beautiful but unfeeling woman he loves, as a token of his devotion. During his quest he ventures into a strange and dangerous realm and eventually finds the star, which has been transformed into a girl (Claire Danes). Also with Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Sienna Miller. Directed by Matthew Vaughn. [2:02]

Underdog [2007] [PG] - 1.3.2
A klutzy ex-police dog acquires super powers when it is given a serum. It then befriends a young loner whose mother recently died and his father disappointed him by quitting the police force, and together they try to thwart the plans of a mad scientist. With Alex Neuberger, Peter Dinklage, James Belushi, Jason Lee and Amy Adams. Directed by Frederik Du Chau. [1:24]

Once [2007] [R] - 2.1.7
Story in Dublin, Ireland about the relationship between a vacuum-cleaner repairman who's also a street musician (Glen Hansard) and a young Czech house cleaner who's also a pianist (Marketa Irglova). She motivates him to finish his long-delayed journey toward a hit CD and recording contract in London. Also starring Alastair Foley, Gerry Hendrick, and Hugh Walsh. Directed by John Carney. [1:28]

Rush Hour 3 [2007] [PG-13] - 4.5.4
Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker reprise their roles as Chief Inspector Lee and LAPD Detective James Carter, in their third outing, which takes place in Paris: When a Chinese ambassador about to reveal the identity of the leader of a notorious crime syndicate is shot and lies in a coma the two detectives travel to France to find out who's responsible. Also with Max von Sydow, Noemie Lenoir and Hiroyuki Sanada. Directed by Brett Ratner. [1:30]

Eastern Promises [2007] [R] - 8.9.7
Crime thriller taking place in modern London: A midwife (Naomi Watts) helps deliver a baby by a 14-year-old Russian girl who dies, and she soon discovers through the girl's diary that she was forced into sexual slavery by a Russian organized crime family. While she tries to find out more about the girl, she meets the Russian-born (Viggo Mortensen) driver for the crime family, who repels and attracts her at the same time. Also with Vincent Cassel, Armin Mueller-Stahl and Sinead Cusack. Directed by David Cronenberg. [1:40]
