Prequel to the cult TV series. The story recounts the final week in the short life of homecoming queen Laura Palmer; an ostensibly idyllic life secretly filled with drug use, prostitution, her schizophrenic father, and an evil specter called BOB.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - Some disconcerting business with a corpse; some rough stuff with the murder of Laura.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now.
