ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

Chuck Norris plays a cop who has to team up with a dog.
SEX/NUDITY 1 - A man is shown in his underwear. A couple of guys are shown
without shirts.
VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - Four martial arts battles, with all the trimmings. One of
these battles is Norris vs. a dozen guys; the others are one-on-one. One building blows
up; one car blows up (both occupied). Three cops are shot point blank. A car crash, but
the driver is unhurt. There are several gun battles, with few bullets making contact. A
man is hit in the head with a wrench and a man is hit in the face which makes his mouth
bleed. A couple of guys fall off buildings and land on tables; it's not clear if they're
hurt.
PROFANITY 3 - A few insults directed at the canine character. A couple of
scatological terms and a few milder profanities. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - White supremacist organizations.
MESSAGE - Dogs make good pals.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
