Unlike the MPAA we do not assign one inscrutable rating based on age, but 3 objective ratings for SEX/NUDITY, VIOLENCE/GORE and PROFANITY on a scale of 0 to 10, from lowest to highest, depending on quantity and context.

A family gets more than they bargained for when they adopt a daughter -- and her felonious parents want her back.

SEX/NUDITY 4 - A man briefly fondles a woman's bra-clad breasts. A couple has sex in an extended scene: they moan, they thrust and they talk sexy; he kisses her body and we see chests and torsos and glimpses of the sides of her breasts.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A child hits, punches and bites and has to be restrained. A man kills a couple by swinging a golf club at them (we only see the swing). A man breaks a woman's neck. A man is shot in the arm (some blood). A man beats up a police officer resulting in blood on the officer's face, and he then slits his throat, off camera. A man's eye is put out (we see his bloody face and closed, red eye). A man is stabbed in the stomach (we see blood), and whacked in the head with a 2X4; blood splatters. A man finds blood in a child's bed. A woman holds a baby and threatens to squeeze its soft spot. A few fistfights.

PROFANITY 5 - About 7 F-words, a few scatological references, and some milder obscenities. [profanity glossary]
