A woman is pulled out of a crowd in a square and an executioner raises his sword over her but he is interrupted. A man and a woman fight and the woman strikes the man, taking out his eye (we see the darkened socket).
A woman fights many soldiers with knives, axes and spears killing them all; she strangles one man and drops him to the ground, she is run through with a sword but recovers (we see blade go through her abdomen) and one man is stabbed and he falls back onto a spear (we see him impaled; no blood is shown). A man with two large guns shoots many guards trying to board a flying vessel, they fall off and into water and onto a bridge; the man continues to fight the guards until he is stabbed in the chest and falls dead. Men and women with knives and swords fight guards with swords on a long bridge (we see and hear slashing with no visible blood) and a giant dog charges toward them. A woman uses weapons on her flying vessel to shoot many people on the ground and then throws one final man that charges toward her. A woman throws knives into two men (we see them dead with the blades sticking out of their chest). Several people (including children) run through a forest chased by evil guards (they grunt and growl like wolves) until another man with a sword fights them off (we hear slashing and one is cut in half with blood visible). A very large man and a giant dog fight on a bridge, and they fall off the bridge and into water where the dog bites the man's leg and holds him under water; the dog then falls over a waterfall.

A man breaks through a cave roof and is followed by a flaming creature with large teeth (it looks like a giant rat) and they fly through the air until the creature nearly has the man in its mouth; they are both taken through a portal and when the creature arrives on a planet it explodes and sprays green goop all over two women and a man (we see the creature dead).
A woman falls off a bridge when it collapses and a giant glowing demon stabs into the ground repeatedly causing an explosion (presumably destroying her). A man and a very large man fight in an arena in front of many cheering people; one man kicks the other into a wall, the other is struck and crashes into the wall of the arena causing a lot of destruction, and the large man slams the other onto the ground repeatedly like a rag doll; they each use hammers, punches, body slams and one straddles the other on the ground and pounds him in the face repeatedly until he hits him back, throwing him across the arena and he then leaps into the air and crashes down on the other man (the scene ends). Two men and a woman fight in a portal between planets and the two men are thrown out of the portal; they crash on another planet and we see one man covered with large debris but he is OK. A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
