ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

Aeronautical thriller starring Charlie Sheen and Nastassja
Kinski.
SEX/NUDITY 3 - A man's behind, in leather trousers sans-a-seat, is exposed
to a crowd of young girls. It is implied that his frontal lower region is exposed as well.
There is some sex talk and a reference to oral sex.
VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A young woman is attacked and eventually drowned after a
lengthy battle: Her bloody body is seen crumpled against the tile wall of a shower. A
woman falls out of a plane and hits the ground: Her body is shown bouncing on the ground
in a cloud of dust. A man is attacked by two thugs. Several dead bodies are discovered in
a closet. A woman is stabbed, and the bloody knife is shown. A man is pulled into the
blades of a giant windmill. Although we don't see him hit the blades, one is later shown
dripping with blood.
PROFANITY 5 - One F-word, a few scatological references and several
anatomical terms. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Espionage, the post-Cold War world.
MESSAGE - All may not be what it seems.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
