Sci-fi film, based upon the comic strip featuring a no-holds-barred feminist.

SEX/NUDITY 3 - In a brothel, plenty of near-nudity in a short scene. A man is forced to disrobe -- briefly seen from the back and from the front, with hands covering the critical area. A woman shown in bra briefly. A little bit of kissing goes on. Tank Girl is in love with a mutant half man/half kangaroo.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - It's really a film about blowing stuff up. There are shootings, explosions, some dismembered bodies, a small girl placed in danger of drowning, a man squashed under truck wheels, a man's hand is skewered, a man walks on glass in his bare feet. Then there's this device that is plunged into people and extracts the water from their bodies.

PROFANITY 5 - The F-word is used once and scatological language is used frequently throughout the film. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Survival of the fittest.

MESSAGE - Good triumphs over Evil, even when Good is unconventional.
