It is the late 1980s and a recent MIT graduate (Topher Grace) is disgruntled with life after college since he finds himself working at a local mall, his best friend (Dan Fogler) has just lost his job and his twin sister (Anna Faris) is marrying her selfish boyfriend (Chris Pratt). But when his high school crush (Teresa Palmer) comes back into the picture, he thinks his luck may be turning around. SEX/NUDITY 8 - A woman rubs the leg of a young man and they begin to kiss passionately, as another man watches, the woman opens her shirt and we see her bare breast, she and the young man begin to have sex, and the other man continues to watch, at the woman's request; the woman straddles the young man, uses crude language and asks him to do the same, the young man stands up (we see him wearing boxer-style underwear and we see the woman's bare breasts), runs away and the man watching (he appears to be fully clothed) begins to thrust behind the partially nude woman and run his hands over her body.
 A young man and a young woman kiss passionately, the woman unbuttons her shirt and we see her bra (it is implied that she then takes off her bra) and moments later we see the young man (his bare chest is visible) and the young woman (we see cleavage and her dress partially unbuttoned) laying side by side and it is implied that they had sex.
 Women are seen wearing low-cut, cleavage exposing dresses. A woman is seen wearing a bikini; her bare torso and cleavage are visible. A young woman wears an off the shoulder shirt. On two occasions, we see two different young men grabbing their crotches as part of a dance move.
 A young woman and a young man kiss as a crowd cheers. A young woman dares a young man to come close to her without kissing, their faces are close and then they kiss passionately. A young woman and a young man kiss and the young woman straddles the young man as they continue to kiss passionately.
 A young man asks a young woman to get naked, and the young woman implies that she will later, she licks his face and walks away. On several occasions we see men and women kissing passionately in the background, including a young woman and a young man kissing while lying down; the young man is on top of the young woman and her legs are wrapped around his waist (they are fully clothed). Young men and women kiss one another on the cheek in greeting.
 A young man tells another young man that he had sex with a woman. A young man shouts while standing up in a moving car that another young man had sex. A young woman and a young man discuss how they had sex, and a young woman accuses a young man of using her for sex. A young man teases another young man about having had sex. A young man makes a crude joke about another young man being forced to perform oral sex on a man if he were to go to jail. A young woman jokes that she is surprised two young men have not had sex with one another. A young man jokes to a young woman about a man's sexual performance. On multiple occasions we hear a young man and a young woman tell people a story of how an older woman had caught them having sex in a swimming pool. Using crude language, a young man tells another young man that he frequently has sex and uses his wheelchair to find women to have sex with. A young man asks a young woman if she would like to have sex in a bathroom and the young woman turns him down. A young man jokes with a man about a situation where a woman had been asked to perform sexually for a man. On two occasions we hear the phrase "seven minutes in heaven" but it is not explained: a young man tells another young man and a young woman about how he and a girl had played, "seven minutes in heaven" and she told people they had kissed when they had not; and a young man asks a young woman if she remembers playing "seven minutes in heaven" with him. A young woman and a young man discuss the young woman's cleavage and breasts; the young woman instructs the young man to look at her breasts and he does so three times. A young woman tells a young man that another man is only interested in her for her breasts, and that he has seen the breasts of her friend. A young man makes a crude remark about a woman's appearance. A young man asks a young woman if she had missed her period, implying that she is pregnant. During the throes of intercourse, a young man tells a woman he will "kill her."

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - A young man is seated inside a large metal ball, a man drives the ball up a hill in the bed of a truck, the ball rolls out of the truck and crashes down a long hill, hitting cars as it goes and it falls off a small cliff and sinks into a pool; we see the young man inside the ball panicking and then vomiting on himself (vomit is seen coming from his mouth, flying upwards and covering his face), he struggles to get out of the metal ball and surfaces in the pool, and we see a small cut above his eyebrow and a bruise on his forehead.
 A young man shoves another young man, he stumbles into a table and then kicks the young man in the crotch, a third young man leaps in and they wrestle, and another young man breaks up the fight; moments later the first young man kicks the second young man in the crotch a second time and runs away. A young man punches another young man in the crotch and the young man winces in pain. A young man violently grabs a young woman by the waist and attempts to perform the Heimlich maneuver on her; she shouts and he drops her, unharmed. A young man tackles another young man, pushing him into a swimming pool; they are both unharmed. Two men playfully wrestle one another. A young man stumbles but is unharmed.
 Two male police officers arrest two young men (one of the young men is one of the police officer's sons), and the young men cry as one of the police officers bashes in the windshield, hood, and side mirror of a car they say the two young men had stolen; the two young men are seen handcuffed as the officers say they will be going to jail with child molesters. A young man drives a car off a road, it spins around in grass and then backs up and crashes over a small hill; the passenger and driver are unharmed.
 A young man in a wheelchair tells another young man that he had been injured in a car accident when a drunk driver hit his car. A young man shouts, panicked, as an alarm sounds in a building, he steals a car and quickly drives away. During the throes of intercourse, a young man tells a woman he will "kill her." A young man jokes that he could throw his drink on a young woman and then throw her into a wall. A man shouts at a woman driving a car. A young man shouts at another young man. A young man shouts dramatically over the phone, it is implied that he is angry but he is joking. A young man says his brain feels like "snot."
 Several people watch as a young woman chokes, she coughs and then spits something into the air; she is later seen unharmed. A young man spits profusely as he cries, spittle is seen coming from his mouth and a small amount of mucus appears to come from his nose and drip down his mouth.
 A young man accidentally pushes over a rack of CDs, it creates a domino effect and multiple racks crash to the ground; no one is injured. A young man throws a duffle bag at a door. A young man kicks a guitar another young man is holding and it breaks.

SUBSTANCE USE - A young man is heard snorting cocaine (it is then seen covering his face) and rubbing it on his tongue and face on multiple occasions, a young man and a woman are seen snorting cocaine, two young men place a small amount of cocaine on their tongues and one says his tongue is numb, two young men discuss the use of cocaine, a young man offers two young women cocaine, two young men wreck a car as they lean down to snort cocaine while driving, it is implied that a young man is smoking marijuana, a young woman is implied to be smoking marijuana from an apple and offers it to a young man who turns it down, and a young man finds a bag of cocaine and carries it around until accidentally dumping a portion of it on a car windshield. We see many empty bottles of alcohol and a keg at a party, young men and women are seen drinking alcohol throughout the movie at parties and a young man drinks in excess (he is seen also taking drugs and acting intoxicated). A young woman is seen smoking a cigarette and two young men are seen smoking cigarettes.
