ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

In an attempt to jumpstart both his screenwriting career
and his love life, Myles Berkowitz documents his real dates with 20 different woman,
hoping that one of them will be Ms. Right. Also with Elisabeth Wagner, Richard Arlook, Tia
Carrere, Robert McKee, Elie Samaha, Signy Coleman and Stacy Sanches. [1:32]
SEX/NUDITY 6 - Lots of sexual innuendo (including references to oral sex and
masturbation). Kissing, often passionately; we also see two women kiss passionately. We
see a man wearing a shirt and underwear; afterward, it's implied that he
had received oral
sex. A woman spanks a man lying over her lap. We see a woman in a skimpy leather outfit
(her bare breasts are visible but her nipples are covered); a man puts a torch near her
breasts and in her mouth. We see several women in cleavage-revealing tops and one
woman in a very revealing bikini.
VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - We briefly see a film clip of a sword fight and a woman
slapping a man. We see a man with a slightly bloody bandage around his hand, and it's
implied that an angry woman attacked him.
PROFANITY 10 - About 50 F-words (most are seen in subtitles while they're
being spoken), many anatomical and scatological references (most are also seen in
subtitles) and several obscenities. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Dating, falling in love, divorce, filmmaking, the L.A scene.
MESSAGE - You can find true love.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
