ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

The son of Inspector Clouseau takes after his famous father
as he bumbles his way toward saving a princess from her kidnappers.
SEX/NUDITY 3 - Two passionate kisses, and two couples are shown in bed, but
they are not doing anything. A woman is shown in her underwear. A man's face is briefly
buried in a belly dancer's clothed crotch.
VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - All the violence is played for laughs and is mainly
cartoonish slapstick. There's no blood and no one seems seriously injured. However, there
are some gunfights and the people who are gunned down can be assumed to be dead when they
fall. A few martial-arts fights, car chases and explosions.
PROFANITY 1 - A few mild anatomical references. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Kidnapping, difficulty of living up to a famous parent.
MESSAGE - Take everything in stride, life is what you make it, and even
losers can win.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
