It's Walter Mitty meets the Karate Kid, as a sickly teenager (Jonathan Brandis) daydreams about grand adventures with his idol, Chuck Norris. Joe Piscopo and Beau Bridges co-star.

SEX/NUDITY 0 - None, unless you consider Piscopo flexing his pectorals and biceps offensive.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - Oodles of rapid-fire karate sequences and some gun-fights and explosions. Most of the fights are daydreams and they are self-consciously comical and low on gore. However, they are also realistic and a couple of brief torture scenes (involving racks and people chained to walls) may be disturbing. Also, brick-breaking via karate chops is made to look easy and may inspire youngsters to try it at home.

PROFANITY 2 - Some mild name calling and anatomical references. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Loneliness, being an outcast, the difference between reality and daydreams.

MESSAGE - Self-confidence and success can be achieved by learning karate and competing in martial-arts.
