ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

A man working in the White House uncovers a murderous plot.
SEX/NUDITY 1 - Sexual innuendo.
VIOLENCE/GORE 7 - A man is found dead in a chair. Blood splatters onto a
computer when a woman is shot. Lots of blood comes out of a gunshot victim's mouth, a
woman has her neck broken, a man is run over by a subway, a toy helicopter shoots and
kills many people with some blood; more people are shot and killed, again with some blood
on their faces and bodies. Chases, falls, an attempted stabbing (through the top of a
car), reckless driving. A man is bitten in the hand and then flipped off a car onto a
street. Fights (punches, kicks), threatening with guns.
PROFANITY 6 - About 10 F-words and one derivative, some scatological
references, many anatomical references, many mild obscenities. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Conspiracy, secret government agencies, investigative work.
MESSAGE - You must uncover conspiracies even if you are then put at risk.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
