D. B. Sweeney is the grandson and Peter Falk the irascible
grandfather in this bittersweet comedy about family ties and values.
SEX/NUDITY 2 - Some sexual talk. A couple kiss passionately in a car and
later on a bed, where they begin to disrobe. A man is shown shirtless, and a young boy's
buttocks are shown.
VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - A man hits another man in the nose with his head leaving a
bloody nose. A fight results in a bloody lip. A few hospital emergency room scenes with
bloody patients, and a couple of surgeries with blood shown going through tubing. A car
accident is shown to the point of impact. A few scenes of familial yelling.
PROFANITY 2 - One scatological term and many milder obscenities. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Old age, imminent death, medical training.
MESSAGE - Family takes care of family.
