VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - A woman is shown being struck by lightning. A man is threatened with a gun. A man is struck by electricity and his body shakes. lightning causes a few boys to fall down. There are scenes where schoolboys taunt another boy, and he is yelled at and pushed around. We see a deer dying and there is a small, bloody hole on its chest. A man starts yelling and seems to have seizure.
LANGUAGE 5 - One F-word, one variation on the F-word, some scatological references, some mild obscenities.
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Being an albino, abandonment, supernatural powers, distrust, small-town life.
MESSAGE - Our technology has outstripped our capacity to be humane. But, there is still hope.
