A young boy (Macaulay Culkin) is sent on the adventure of his life by The Pagemaster, keeper of the books and guardian of the written word.

SEX/NUDITY 0 - None.

VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - A boy on his bike hits a tree. A man gets hit in the head by a bucket on a pulley. A boy slips and falls and cracks his head. The cartoon segment is filled with swashbuckling-type action, but nobody really gets hurt. One character falls down a hole in the floor, and a pirate gets conked with a coconut. A boat is smashed by a whale and a magic carpet has a crash landing. There are several scary looking characters and scenes.
