Robin Williams stars as a divorced father who poses as an elderly housekeeper in order to see his kids, residing with his wife who's won custody.

SEX/NUDITY 1 - A pool scene with some bikini clad hardbodies, a few quick kisses, and Robin Williams urinating into a toilet (no body parts shown).

VIOLENCE/GORE 1 - Just a yelling match between Williams and Sally Field overheard by their children.

PROFANITY 5 - One F-word, as well as a few scatological terms and sexual references. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Divorce, custody, cross-dressing, homosexuality.

MESSAGE - Dads are parents too and deserve to spend each day with their children even if they don't win custody.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
