|

Ellen DeGeneres meets the man she thinks is Mr. Right, but
boy, is she wrong.
SEX/NUDITY 3 - Sexual innuendo, kissing. A man and woman are lying in front
of a fire and he's bare-chested and she's in his shirt. They begin kissing and hugging. A
belly dancer is seen in one scene.
VIOLENCE/GORE 3 - Played for laughs: pratfalls, a woman is hit by a truck,
people are threatened with guns (two are shot in separate scenes) and a woman with a
knife. A man shoots a woman in the arm and there's some blood.
PROFANITY 2 - A couple of scatological references, a handful of mild
obscenities, a couple of anatomical references. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Dating and marriage, being single and looking for the perfect
mate, romantic obsession.
MESSAGE - Sometimes Mr. Right is all wrong. There's nothing wrong with being
single.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
