Jackie Chan stars as a Hong Kong
detective who, after an incident involving a mysterious medallion,
is transformed into an immortal warrior with superhuman powers. Now
he is on the trail of a man called Snakehead (Julian Sands), who has
stolen half of the medallion and hopes to become immortal himself.

SEX/NUDITY 2 - A man and a woman kiss several times.
Two men argue and the other people misunderstand that they are
having a lover's quarrel. A man and a woman appear to have a
romantic history. People dance together. A man appears nude (judging
from another man's reaction) and we see his bare chest and back to
the hip. A woman wears a top that reveals cleavage, bare shoulders
and back, and a woman wears a short skirt that reveals her bare
legs.
VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A freight container with a man and a
boy in it is shoved off a ship and into water; the container sinks
and fills with water, and when the container is opened on land, the
boy appears fine but the man is dead (we see him tinged blue,
motionless and see people grieving over him). A woman is chased by a
man, he grabs her hair and throws her over a stone wall (we see her
lying dead later). A man is surrounded by a serpent and a fish that
swirl around him, take him up into a light, and he bursts into
particles and the light disappears. A dead body lies on a table in a
morgue, while a duplicate of the dead body (we are told he's a
ghost) appears and moves around the room talking to another man;
then the dead body on the table turns to particles and blows away. A
man is shot at and hit a few times in the chest and abdomen (we see
light coming out of the holes in his body). Two men with super
strength fight each other; they run very fast through trees, one
throws a tree limb at the other and he is knocked back, and one
grabs a medallion off the other's chest and he falls unconscious.
Two men fight in mid-air, spinning and kicking each other, one grabs
a chain and whips it breaking up stone stairs under the other man,
they each hold an end of the chain while it glows and breaks apart,
and one man is impaled through the leg by an antler (we hear
squishing when he pulls it out). A grenade launcher is fired into a
boat that explodes, and four men are shot at as they run away and
jump off a ship and into water below. One man fights another man and
hits him on the head with a gun, and fights three other men with
kicks and punches. Two men hold guns on each other, one shoots the
other in the hand, then kicks him, and proceeds to fight two more
men. People shoot into a house where a woman and child are, the
woman shoots back, a man shoots a man who falls over a balcony, and
a woman kicks a man. A man fights several men, he is shot at by
others, he fights two more men, is shot at again, and a woman fights
a man with kicks and punches. Two women fight with many kicks,
punches, spins and flips, and one is thrown over a stairway. A woman
fights with several men knocking them unconscious. A man crashes
through a window, grabs a young boy and flies away holding onto a
ladder attached to a helicopter, another man jumps trying to catch
them, misses and crashes into the street below (we hear bones
crunching when he gets up and stretches). A man falls from a
considerable height and crashes onto a stone floor (he groans and
cracks as he gets up). A man fights three men, two run away and the
other is kicked repeatedly (sending him sailing into walls), he's
slammed into the ceiling, the other men join the fight and there is
a lot of kicking and punching, and one man is thrown back and
knocked down by a glider that crashes through a window behind him. A
man throws a man against a wall and he bounces off and into the
other walls, and a man jumps up and crashes through a ceiling. A man
slams a man against a wall, beats another man with his own gun,
kicks and punches a few other men, and slams another man into a
wall. A man stabs himself in the chest, another man stabs him
repeatedly in the chest and then in the buttocks (we see rays of
light shining through the holes and the man grimaces and moans with
pain) and a woman who's watching faints. A man fights a couple of
men with an IV stand, and he pokes one in the arm with an IV needle.
A man tips over a candelabra which sets curtains on fire and
surrounds a young boy in flames. A man holds a man with a letter
opener under his chin and a bit of blood trickles onto the blade. A
man is hit on the back of the head with a gun, he falls to the
ground and we see him with a patch of blood on his forehead later. A
man hits a man in the face with a stick, a woman hits a man in the
head with a chair and then a table, a man kicks a man in the face,
and a woman kicks a man in the face. A man jumps off a ship, toward
a passing boat, misses and lands in the water. A man runs into a
street and falls over two moving cars while being chased by another
man: they run through a square, through a restaurant (jumping over
tables and diners), up a gate, along a wall, one jumps from the wall
onto a moving truck, one follows the other up a fence and pulls him
down onto the ground where he is shoved into a garbage can and the
can is kicked repeatedly. A man asks a man to hit him, and he does
with a bed pan in the face. A man drinks a poison, dies, his ghost
appears and his dead body disintegrates. A woman slaps a man in the
face a few times (a few in outtake reel as well), and a man runs
into a stone archway and hits his head. A boy holds a medallion in
his hand and it emits a bright light, and a boy walks into a vortex
of light. A man runs through traffic and is nearly hit by a car. A
man drives a motorcycle recklessly. A man rides on a freight
container up into the air as it is being loaded onto a ship. We hear
a man vomit, a man grabs a bed pan and we hear a splat on the floor,
and a man urinates over a ledge where a man and a woman are hiding
(we see the stream). A man pretends to be dying. The outtake reel
shows a man being hit in the leg by a car as he runs across a
street, falling off a stone wall onto stairs below; there are a few
other falls.
