Fantasy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a movie hero
who's never had to lose a battle on the big screen until he is transported into the real
world .
SEX/NUDITY 1 - Just some scantily clad women, one kiss and a few sexual
references.
VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - While most of the film maintains a tongue-in-cheek tone,
and it is relatively low on gore (there are few scenes where blood is visible), countless
people do die, by various means: some fall to their deaths, some are shot, some are
pummeled, kicked, punched or stabbed to death and many more are blown up. One character
has been apparently tortured off screen; he's shown tied up, looking bloody and bruised.
Another scene involves some slapstick clowning with a corpse, and there's an ax-wielding
villain who looks quite scary. Particularly disturbing may be one scene where a boy is
hand-cuffed to a pipe by a burglar, after being threatened with a knife.

PROFANITY 4 - Some scatological language, some cussing and a few lewd
anatomical references. The F-word is very obliquely implied but not uttered. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Truancy, crime.
MESSAGE - Fantasy is distinct from reality; one should live in the real
world.
