The first volume of this Quentin Tarantino film concerns a group of skilled assassins called Deadly Viper Assassination Squad that turn on one of their own (Uma Thurman) when she decides to quit, get married and have a family. Fox and Michael Madsen) and their boss, Bill (David Carradine). Also with Michael Madsen and Sonny Chiba. [1:50]

SEX/NUDITY 6 - A hospital employee sells sex with a woman in a coma to a man: we see the man climb on top of the woman, he makes sexual remarks and moves close to kiss her. A man and a woman fight on a balcony railing: the man's legs are cut off and he falls into a pool of water below (the water turns red from blood). A young woman swings a bladed ball on a chain and hits a wall, it hits a woman in the chest twice (we see blood in her mouth), and it hits a woman on the shoulder (she is cut); the ball also hits a woman in the back of the head, the chain wraps around her neck and she begins choking. A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
