In this black comedy, a group of high school girls turn
against each other when they accidentally kill one of their friends and disagree on how to
cover it up. Starring Rose McGowan, Rebecca Gayheart, Julie Benz, Judy Greer, Chad Christ,
Ethan Erickson, Charlotte Roldan, Carol Kane and Pam Grier. [1:27]
SEX/NUDITY 5 - Lots of sexual innuendo (including references to lesbianism,
rape and oral sex) and some kissing. We briefly see a man lying on top of a girl, kissing
her. We see a clothed man moving as if were having intercourse, then we briefly see him
moving rhythmically with a clothed woman. A girl in a slip makes a boy in his underwear
perform fellatio on a popsicle; it's implied she's performing fellatio on him (we hear him
groan and see his facial expressions). Several men and women wiggle their tongues at
others in a sexual manner, and a woman gestures as if she's performing fellatio. We see a
girl in a tank top and panties and lots of scantily clad women (in short skirts,
cleavage-revealing tops, etc.)
VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - Three girls shove candy in girl's mouth, tape her mouth
shut, tie her up and throw her in a car trunk; when they open the trunk later, the girl is
dead (apparently from asphyxiation). We see a blotchy, bruised corpse several times. Girls
carry a corpse into a house, rip its underwear and force its legs apart; a girl tries to
move the corpse's head and we hear a cracking noise. A girl repeatedly shoves another
against a wall. A girl faints twice; we see her with a bloody bandage on her head. A crowd
pelts a girl with flowers. A girl cracks an egg and we see a bloody yolk in a bowl.
PROFANITY 7 - About 17 F-words, several anatomical references, many
scatological references, many mild obscenities and lots of insults (two are seen on a
license plate and a shirt). We see an obscene finger gesture. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Teenage popularity and cliques, covering up a crime, lying,
revenge.
MESSAGE - You can't cover up your crimes and misdemeanors; the truth always
comes out in the end.
