ASSIGNED NUMBERS |
|
|

The super stuntman is back with another police-themed
actioner.
SEX/NUDITY 2 - Sexual innuendo, a nude man is shown from the back and we see
his naked buttocks.
VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - Many scenes of martial arts fighting with punches, kicks and
people being hit with different objects. People are threatened with guns and knives.
People are shot dead throughout the film but with little blood (a bloody hand and some
blood on a torso). Explosions, reckless driving and crashes, and people run over by
snowmobiles. A man has a gun shot out of his hand (some blood), a man is stabbed to death
and a man is nearly stabbed. Two men have their fingers cut, with some blood. Sharks
attack people during an underwater fight and an aquarium explodes sending glass, people
and sharks everywhere.
PROFANITY 2 - A few mild obscenities. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Law enforcement, nuclear weapons, stealing, terrorism.
MESSAGE - The good guys usually win; crime does not pay.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process. |
