A man chases a woman through a ship, he tries to grab her and his hand is slammed by a door (we see his twisted, bloody fingers and he screams), and he continues to chase the woman, who hits him with an ax in the chest; he tries to hit her back with another ax, nearly catching her foot with the pointed ax tip, and they fall off the ship together and into water where the man is grabbed in the crotch by a shark and thrashed about (the man screams and we see bits of flesh and blood in the water around him).
A woman is handcuffed to a dead man, pulling him through a room, and she finds a machete and cuts the man's hand off (we see the severed hand lying near the man's body later).

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
