SEX/NUDITY 7 - Women in a dance club dance on stages and around poles, wiggling and thrusting, while men watch; they are all scantily clad, with most wearing thongs that reveal bare buttocks and tiny tops that reveal cleavage and part of their bare breasts.  A young woman wears a very short skirt (revealing bare thighs) and a short, low-cut top (revealing cleavage and bare abdomen); she gets out of a car, walks to another car where a man waits for her, she climbs in and they drive away (it is implied that her sexual services have been sold to the man in the car and they are going to have sex). A young woman climbs into the back seat of a man's car, the man joins her and she comes out of the car with money, and a young woman gets into another man's car and they drive off to have sex. An older man admires a younger woman, and another man makes arrangements for her to have sex with him in exchange for music equipment.

A man talks about the sex he and his wife had on his birthday. A man compares humans with animals and talks about a dog sniffing another dog and becoming aroused, using crude terms. We hear that a woman is pregnant from one of her liaisons as a prostitute.
A man shoves money down the front of his pants, rubs it around and then slams it on a counter top after a cashier insults him.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A man reaches into a dirty toilet to retrieve something, that he then shoves into another man's mouth; he then punches the man repeatedly, the man being punched pulls a gun, and one of the men shoots a third man in the arm (we see blood on the wound).
A man punches a man in the face, and another man chases him carrying a baseball bat and threatening to hit him with it. Two men argue, and one shoves the other in the head.
Police hold guns on a man as they arrest him, they shove him onto the hood of a car, another man (a civilian) punches the arrested man in the face, and he is taken to the police car.
A man grabs a woman around the throat, they argue bitterly, he throws the woman out on the porch and then puts her crying baby on the porch with her. A man passes out on a bathroom floor after drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.

Our Ratings Explained

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
