Christopher Lambert stars as a businessman caught up in a world of Ninjas and Samurais while in the Orient.

SEX/NUDITY 6 - A woman's breasts are exposed from the side. A man and woman have sex in a hot tub, and the woman's breasts are briefly seen. The scene is extended and sensual but not overly graphic. A man's buttocks are seen briefly. A woman is shown briefly totally nude.

VIOLENCE/GORE 8 - A woman is decapitated with a sword, and the bloody scene is repeated a number of times. An extended scene of bloody torture and murder. Discussions of a man's wounds and how the Ninjas will try to kill him. A man is shot with an arrow. There are several shootings, martial arts fights (with broken backs, legs, etc.) and people are killed by a sword. An extended scene with numerous bloody and graphic murders with arrows, people bleeding profusely, dying by stabbing. More sword dueling and more decapitations.

PROFANITY 2 - A few scatological terms, and mild obscenities. [profanity glossary]

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
