MPAA Rating: PG

Blend of horror and comedy about three 17th century witches (Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker) who come to life in present-day Salem. Their objective is to live for ever by collecting kids and sucking the life out of them.

SEX/NUDITY 2 - Some cleavage, but no nudity and no sex scenes. Some sexual innuendo and lots of references to sex and virginity, as well as some outspoken flirting.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A little girl dies when her life is "sucked out of her" by the witches. A zombie keeps losing his head and fingers in violent confrontations. The witches throw severed "dead man's" toes at each other. There's no blood, but lots of slapstick violence (pushing, punching, shoving) and lots of references to death.

PROFANITY 1 - Some cursing and sexual references. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Sorcery and witchcraft, the devil, death -- especially the witches' plan which is to "suck the life out of children." Kidnapping, murder, revenge, life after death.

MESSAGE - Appreciate your little brother or sister because they might not always be there.
