Penelope Ann Miller plays Betty Lou, a married librarian with no self-confidence, an indifferent husband and an over-active imagination. When she stumbles on a murder weapon and her police-detective husband doesn't listen, she gets his attention by confessing to the murder.

SEX/NUDITY 0 - None.

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - The bad guy shoves a sharp utensil into a woman's mouth and kills his lawyer with another. There is also gun fire and a bar fight.

PROFANITY 2 - A little harsh language. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Infidelity, killing, mob involvement.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
