A bitter couple headed for divorce must flee their ritzy New York life and hide out in Amish country.

SEX/NUDITY 1 - A few suggestive gestures and playful sexual innuendo. A couple is heard (not seen) having sex in an adjacent bedroom.

VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - Some comic physical violence. A man gets dragged through a field by a horse. A man fires a gun at another man, shooting a cellular phone out of his hand.

PROFANITY 5 - One F-word, several scatological references, a few anatomical references, a few mild obscenities. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Divorce, tax evasion, the Amish.

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
