A reclusive writer (Sean Connery) befriends an inner city high school basketball star (Robert Brown) in this drama about the power of words and friendship. Also with F. Murray Abraham, Michael Pitt, Anna Paquin, Matt Damon, Joey Buttafuoco, April Grace, Busta Rhymes and Gerry Rosenthal. [2:15]

SEX/NUDITY 3 - One scene with mild kissing. In two scenes we hear people having sex off camera (in the apartment next door), including sounds of a headboard banging against a wall and a woman moaning. Talk of "getting laid." We see the bare chests and shoulders of several young men in a high school locker room.

VIOLENCE/GORE 1 - A couple of minor scuffles on a basketball court.

PROFANITY 5 - 2 F-words, several anatomical and scatological references, some mild obscenities, a few religious profanities and racial slurs. [profanity glossary]

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
