Madonna stars as Argentinian and First Lady Eva Peron in this adaptation of the hit musical.

SEX/NUDITY 1 - Kissing, sexual innuendo.

VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - Scuffles, explosions, fires, lots of scenes of rioting and lots of scenes of police beating rioters with clubs and kicks; in some of the riots we see bloody puddles, corpses, some blood on bodies and bloody stretchers. We see a man with lots of blood on his face and a man with bruises and bloody cuts. A few scenes of butchers with bloody aprons hanging bloody animal corpses; we see tables with puddles of blood and bloody animal parts on them. An earthquake with bodies in the wreckage and bodies being extracted (mainly children); there's some blood on the bodies (mainly on grasping hands, fingers and wrists).

PROFANITY 1 - A couple of mild obscenities and an anatomical reference. [profanity glossary]

DISCUSSION TOPICS - Politics, ambition, betraying a trust.

INAPPROPRIATE ADS? We have little control over ads since we belong to ad agencies that serve ads automatically; a standing order should prevent provocative ads, but inappropriate ads do sneak in.
