Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn are actresses obsessed with
staying young and use a magic potion with strange results. Bruce Willis co-stars.
SEX/NUDITY 2 - One exposed rear end and a scene where a woman wears only a
bead necklace to cover her breasts. No frontal nudity.
VIOLENCE/GORE 4 - The characters attempt to kill each other off in violent
ways, such as choking, pushing down stairs, driving a car off of a cliff and using a
shotgun. Special effects make it a cartoon-like experience.
PROFANITY 2 - There are curse words sprinkled throughout. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Murder, mortality and death, and the loss of youth.
MESSAGE - When we become so obsessed with aging that we make our lives
miserable, we're not really living anyway and we're unable to enjoy the rest of the years
we have left. In other words, getting older sure beats the alternative.
