MPAA Rating: R

Debra Winger stars as a mentally retarded woman, who is suspected of swiping money from her employer's cash register. Barbara Hershey and Gabriel Byrne co-star.

SEX/NUDITY 7 - There are several sex scenes, with varying degrees of intensity and nudity: one scene leaves little to the imagination, and another takes place on a kitchen floor; yet another is interrupted. We also see a side shot of a woman's bosom, and another woman's naked behind (while she is sexually gratifying herself), and also a man's naked behind.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A woman tries to run her husband over with a car and then points a gun at him. Another woman takes a kitchen knife to a co-worker and slices into his stomach with about 30 slashes -- a very bloody, graphic and disturbing scene.
