A con man (Edward Burns) is in deep trouble when it turns out that his latest mark, an accountant, is actually an accountant for a criminal kingpin (Dustin Hoffman). Having to repay the debt to the mobster, the con man and his crew agree to pull off another scam. Also with Andy Garcia, Paul Giamatti and Rachel Weisz. Directed by James Foley. [1:39]

SEX/NUDITY 6 - A woman opens her corset while sitting on a man's lap; we see her bare breasts, her bare buttocks in a thong and hear her moaning. A man and a woman kiss on TV, we see her bare breasts and his bare chest. A man and a woman kiss and caress each other while removing their clothing (we see the silhouette of their forms through an opaque curtain) and lie back on a bed. Two women in bikinis dance provocatively in a bar; one woman kisses the other woman's thighs and crotch (we see one of the women's bare buttocks). A man kisses and caresses a woman, a man and a woman kiss, a man places a woman's hand on his chest and then he touches her chest. A man and a woman kiss in a few other scenes. We see a nude woman in a painting that shows her bare breast and pubic region. A woman massages a man's feet in a couple of scenes, a man and a woman flirt, and a woman eats fruit and licks her fingers suggestively. There are a few suggestions that a man is homosexual. We see a man's bare chest when he opens his shirt. Women wear tight-fitting, low-cut dresses that expose cleavage. We see a man with his pants around his ankles in a bathroom.

VIOLENCE/GORE 5 - A man is shot and we see blood spray, and a man is shot in the head. We see a dead man with a bloody bullet hole in his head. A man is shot twice and we see blood on his shirt. A man is shot in the back and we see him lying on the floor with a pool of blood forming around him. A dead man lies on a street with blood on his shirt (we see this a few times). A man lies motionless on the floor covered with blood. A man puts a gun against the back of another man's head and threatens him several times. A man punches another man in the face and slams his head against a bar repeatedly, then grabs him around the neck, they keep fighting, one grabs a pool cue and hits the other with it, they exchange punches in the stomach and face, and one is hit in the head with a bottle and it breaks. A man head-butts another man in the face. Two men hold guns on each other and exchange threats. A man grabs and punches another man repeatedly, and another man holds a gun on four other men. A man slaps a man on the face, a man slaps a man on the head, a man is kicked and he falls to the ground. A woman walks into a street and is nearly hit by a car. People talk about a man having drowned, we hear about a man having been chained in a bathroom for five days, a man talks about having been shot. We see a woman pick up an axe, she swings it down and we hear about the tale of Lizzie Borden and the murder of her parents. Men argue and yell at each other in several scenes. A man is shoved against a wall and searched. We see a suitcase of money sprayed with blood. A man has a bloodstained shirt after having shot a man, a man has a bruised cheek, and a man has a burn scar on his arm (he explains that he was burned by a cigar).

A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now.
