SEX/NUDITY 4 - Many instances of sexual innuendo and discussions about sex
(including a reference to masturbation and infidelity), though nothing graphic is said. We
see a clip from the movie "10" showing a man and woman kissing passionately on a
beach, a woman wearing a skimpy bathing suit and a close-up of her cleavage; later we see
a priest's face as he's watching the movie alone (we hear characters from the film
moaning, but don't see any footage). A man and woman are briefly seen kissing
passionately. It's implied that a clothed man and woman lying in a truck bed have just had
intercourse (we only see them kiss briefly). A man touches and adjusts his clothed crotch
several times throughout the movie. We see a woman's bare backside in a centerfold
magazine and a woman in a bikini on a calendar photograph; also, a woman shows a man a
page from a centerfold magazine (we glimpse some pictures as she's shutting it, but no
nudity is visible). We see a woman in a cleavage-revealing top, a man in boxers and a man
wearing a tank top and skimpy underwear.
VIOLENCE/GORE 1 - A man is punched, resulting in a bloody nose and, in a
later scene, black eyes. Two men scuffle until another man breaks them apart and shoves
one of them against a wall a few times. We see a little blood on a butcher's white coat.
We hear a man urinating (we only see him from his mid-torso up).
PROFANITY 5 - Two F-words (one is barely audible), a couple of anatomical
slang terms (plus a few British anatomical slang terms), a few scatological references,
several mild obscenities and several instances of name calling. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Small villages, searching for one's spouse, discovering one's
sexuality, falling in love, personal ads, drunkenness, infidelity, jealousy.
MESSAGE - Mr. or Ms. Right could be right next to you. It's easy to take
people for granted.
