In 1950's Ireland three teenage girlfriends discover love.

SEX/NUDITY 5 - A great deal of talk about sex. A discussion of making love
for the first time. A couple is shown making out in a car: they kiss passionately and
writhe and moan a bit and he puts his hand into her bra. A woman is shown in a practically
see-through nightgown. A couple is obviously naked although only bare shoulders are seen.
We can see briefly and in shadows a man's naked back as he's lying over a naked woman. A
woman looks at pictures of naked women (we briefly see breasts and behinds).
VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - A man is knocked down in a sporting event but isn't hurt.
A corpse is displayed in a classroom while the scalp is being sawed off. A man tries to
force himself on a woman and there is a scuffle. A woman falls into a window and cuts her
arm; there is a great deal of blood.
PROFANITY 2 - One scatological term and a few mild obscenities. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - Virginity, unwanted pregnancy, betrayal and forgiveness, the
Catholic Church.
MESSAGE - It's better to forgive, but don't ever betray your own values.
