 A man says that another man was going to have his way with a teenage girl, but that he stopped him. It is implied that two men are lovers.

VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - A man slits a man's throat (we see blood spurting from the wound and the man twitches), a woman is shot in the head, and then a boy and a teenage girl (we see glimpses of blood spraying and then blood splashes on a wall near the last victim).
 A man is led to the gallows, a noose is wrapped around his neck, a hood placed over his face, he falls, his feet kick briefly, and he hangs until he is dead.
 We see crime photos of four gunshot victims (they all have very bloody head wounds and their features have become distorted due to their wounds). A young woman finds the body of another young woman bound by the hands and shot in the head (we see a large splatter of blood and matter on the wall).
 Four coffins are arranged in a funeral home, a man opens one of them and sees a woman's body with her head wrapped in cotton gauze (they had each been shot in the head).
 A man threatens to hunt another man down. A man talks about a person having been shot in the face at point blank range. A woman talks about her family and that one sibling shot himself, one is dead and another is in prison for murder. A man says that another man was going to have his way with a teenage girl. We hear that four people were murdered by two men during a robbery in their home. A man talks about his mother dying and the grief he and his stepfather suffered. We hear that a man in prison has not eaten in a month.
 Two men are sentenced to death for four murders they committed. Two men are strapped into harnesses in preparation for their hanging.
 A man chews an aspirin.

PROFANITY 5 - 1 F-word, 2 anatomical terms, 1 mild obscenity, 1 derogatory term for African-Americans, 1 religious profanity, 4 religious exclamations. [profanity glossary]

SUBSTANCE USE - People drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes in several party scenes and we hear that a man died from the effects of alcoholism. A man smokes cigarettes in many scenes, and a woman smokes cigarettes in many scenes.
