Unlike the MPAA we do not assign one inscrutable rating based on age, but 3 objective ratings for SEX/NUDITY, VIOLENCE/GORE and PROFANITY on a scale of 0 to 10, from lowest to highest, depending on quantity and context.

Benny (Aidan Quinn) and his schizophrenic sister Joon (Mary Stuart Masterson) must learn to give each other space when Joon falls in love with her illiterate housekeeper (Johnny Depp).

SEX/NUDITY 1 - A few scenes of passionate kissing.

VIOLENCE/GORE 2 - A couple of scenes of adults yelling at each other, two scenes of pummeling with no blood or serious injury, and a horror movie on TV showing the lead stabbing the air with a knife; a spurt of blood hits a wall. Masterson suffers a psychotic episode on a bus which results in her muttering, screaming and pacing.
