Unlike the MPAA we do not assign one inscrutable rating based on age, but 3 objective ratings for SEX/NUDITY, VIOLENCE/GORE and PROFANITY on a scale of 0 to 10, from lowest to highest, depending on quantity and context.
Pamela Anderson Lee is a tough woman in a tough future
world where a pair of contact lenses are of the utmost importance.
SEX/NUDITY 5 - Scantily clad women, sexual innuendo, a woman's breasts and
buttocks are seen a few times (once she steps out of a bath covered in bubbles, once she's
hosed down while on a trapeze as a stripper).
VIOLENCE/GORE 8 - Explosions, property damage, lots of gunfire (mostly
automatics) with many people (some blood), lots of martial arts fighting (punches,
kickboxing), some fistfights, one torture scene. People are injured with a crane and
forklift, one person gets hit in the head with a stiletto heel.

PROFANITY 7 - 10+ F-words, some scatological references, mild obscenities
and anatomical references. [profanity glossary]
DISCUSSION TOPICS - The future, mercenaries, silicon breast implants.
MESSAGE - A woman can be as tough as any man.
(Note: A video version contains additional nudity: mostly Pamela Anderson Lee
topless.)
A CAVEAT: We've gone through several editorial changes since we started covering films in 1992 and some of our early standards were not as stringent as they are now. We therefore need to revisit many older reviews, especially those written prior to 1998 or so; please keep this in mind if you're consulting a review from that period. While we plan to revisit and correct older reviews our resources are limited and it is a slow, time-consuming process.
