Edward Burns wrote, directed and stars in this romantic drama set in pre-September 11^th New York: Three men and three women speak candidly about love, sex and relationships and we watch them as they try to sort out their lives, searching for happiness in the vast metropolis. SEX/NUDITY 8 - There is a quick scene of a man and woman having sex (we see the man on top of the woman thrusting, and we see bare shoulders). A man and woman are shown in bed together covered by a blanket and the man asks about being in the right "place." Two women kiss passionately in an elevator, a man and woman kiss tenderly a couple of times, and a man kisses a woman on the neck and on the cheek. A man sits in a bathtub covered with bubbles (we see his bare shoulders and knees). We see a man and woman in bed talking, covered to the chest with sheets. Another scene shows a man and woman talking in bed (the man wears a T-shirt and we see the woman's bra straps), and another scene shows a man and woman in bed together covered to the shoulders with a sheet. A man is shown in bed covered to the waist with a sheet and talking to a woman who is presumably a prostitute. Women wear cleavage revealing tops in a few scenes, and a woman wears hiphuggers that reveal her abdomen and her lower back. A man and woman get dressed (nothing is seen) presumably after having had sex and talk about the fact that he is married and that they meet secretively on his lunch hour. A man touches a woman's clothed buttock. There are continuous discussions about sex, love, the opposite sex, etc: a man talks about his father having taken him to a high class brothel, a man repeatedly talks about his sexual prowess using some derogatory terms for women, and there are several discussions about a man's endowment. Two women discuss a man having performed oral sex on one of the women, and a man talks about masturbating. There is a sexual relationship between an older married man and a young woman (39 and 19 years old, respectively). A woman refers to a man as being a "sexual pervert." There are a couple of references to men being gay.

VIOLENCE/GORE 1 - There are several heated arguments, yelling and confrontations between men and women: a man pounds at a woman's door and yells and the woman yells back at him, another woman yells at a man telling him to move out of their apartment, one woman asks for a divorce and one woman asks her ex-husband to leave her alone. A man remarks about having been beaten up a lot when he was a kid.
